Rajendra Panickar was born in Kerala on the 2nd of October, 1954 in a traditional Nair family. After initial schooling upto standard V, he went to Pune where he completed his education obtaining a Master’s Degree in Commerce followed by an MBA. He commenced his career in the central Government service but after a few years he went on to establish and run a small scale industrial projects in Madhya Pradesh. Thereafter, he had a brilliant stint spanning over a decade in vernacular newspapers working in various states, such as Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, finally culminating at Chandigarh from where he controlled operations in areas of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh & Haryana. Presently, he is serving as the Director General for a privately held Group of Colleges in Punjab, a position he has been holding since the past nine years.
Widely read and well-travelled, Panickar loves meeting and interacting with people across a wide spectrum of society. He is passionate to counsel and guide the youth towards their career goals as they are the future of our nation.
